In 2022 – exactly in May – we announced a major shift in the way we manage technical documentation—a simple change with a powerful impact on both environmental and economic fronts. Three years later, the Quick Guide project has become a true success story, with measurable and meaningful results.
Small Format, Big Impact
From 2021 to 2024, we introduced 9 Quick Guides, progressively replacing traditional printed manuals with compact, credit-card-sized booklets featuring a QR code to access the full, always-up-to-date documentation online.
This digital and user-friendly solution has allowed us to:
Cut paper consumption and costs in half, even with a steady increase in product sales and the related demand for documentation.
Maintain high information efficiency, offering customers access to continuously updated content in multiple languages.
In 2024 alone, this innovation helped us avoid printing 15 tons of paper and save over 60% of our budget compared to projections based on the previous model.
The Future? Even Lighter
Our journey doesn’t end here. In 2025, we are rolling out three new Quick Guides dedicated to key products in the MecTo range (SJ, DS TRP, and MVM), aiming for a further 50% reduction in paper use—with an equally significant economic impact. It’s a tangible and realistic target, marking the evolution of a now-structural process that influences our choices in terms of both planet and profit.
