The initiative, structured into four thematic sessions, offered an important opportunity for dialogue and updates on <strong data-start=\"320\" data-end=\"338\">digitalization<\/strong>, <strong data-start=\"340\" data-end=\"354\" data-is-only-node=\"\">innovation<\/strong>, and <strong data-start=\"360\" data-end=\"374\">investment<\/strong> in water systems.<\/p><\/p>\n\n<p><p class=\"\" data-start=\"37\" data-end=\"518\">We actively participated in the second day, <strong data-start=\"81\" data-end=\"104\">Wednesday, March 26<\/strong>, dedicated to the theme <strong data-start=\"129\" data-end=\"177\">&#8220;Innovation and Investment in Water Systems&#8221;<\/strong>, with a joint presentation alongside <strong data-start=\"215\" data-end=\"234\">Acque Bresciane<\/strong>.<br data-start=\"235\" data-end=\"238\"\/><strong data-start=\"238\" data-end=\"256\">Alberto Pecile<\/strong>, Sales Director Italy at Maddalena S.p.A., and <strong data-start=\"304\" data-end=\"322\">Ettore Acerbis<\/strong>, Technical Director at Acque Bresciane, presented the project <strong data-start=\"385\" data-end=\"412\">&#8220;Smart Water Ecosystem&#8221;<\/strong>, a tangible synergy between <strong data-start=\"441\" data-end=\"457\">Smart Meters<\/strong>, the <strong data-start=\"463\" data-end=\"474\">Network<\/strong>, and the <strong data-start=\"484\" data-end=\"517\">Advanced Central System (SAC)<\/strong>.<\/p><\/p>\n\n<p><p>A targeted and technologically advanced initiative aimed at addressing the challenges of data collection and network efficiency in the municipalities of the Brescia province.<br data-start=\"211\" data-end=\"214\"\/>The project plans to replace <strong data-start=\"243\" data-end=\"272\">36,000 traditional meters<\/strong> with <strong data-start=\"278\" data-end=\"301\">static smart meters<\/strong> featuring <strong data-start=\"312\" data-end=\"343\" data-is-only-node=\"\">LoRaWAN\/wM-Bus connectivity<\/strong> by 2026, ensuring accurate readings and efficient communication over a dedicated network.<br data-start=\"433\" data-end=\"436\"\/>A concrete step towards a <strong data-start=\"462\" data-end=\"524\">smarter, more sustainable, and integrated water management<\/strong>.<\/p><\/p>\n\n<p><p>To date, Maddalena S.p.A. has supplied over <strong data-start=\"81\" data-end=\"117\">15,000 Smart <a data-mce-href=\"\/?p=22342\" href=\"https:\/\/www.maddalena.it\/en\/product\/electo-sonic\/\">ElecTo SONIC<\/a> meters<\/strong> for the project, offering integrated data communication thanks to innovative <strong data-start=\"195\" data-end=\"244\">electronic clockwork with multiprotocol radio<\/strong> technology.<\/p><\/p>\n\n<p><p>Among the key strengths of this multi-stakeholder project are: the appointment of a <strong data-start=\"121\" data-end=\"150\">dedicated project manager<\/strong> for each area (meters, network, and SAC), the organization of a <strong data-start=\"215\" data-end=\"235\">kick-off meeting<\/strong> to share timelines and align expectations, <strong data-start=\"279\" data-end=\"301\">bi-weekly meetings<\/strong> to monitor development progress, the definition of <strong data-start=\"353\" data-end=\"361\">KPIs<\/strong> and <strong data-start=\"366\" data-end=\"380\">checklists<\/strong> for validation (including the SAC component), and continuous engagement with all stakeholders of the authority to effectively gather and integrate requirements for data usage.<\/p><\/p>\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>From March 25 to 27, 2025, Maddalena S.p.A. took part in the Specialization Course on Water Systems Management, hosted at the Hotel Vittoria in Brescia.
