Maddalena offers an extensive range of flexible solutions to allow MecTo (Mechanical Totalizer) meters to connect and exchange data with any type of short-range and long-range networks. These solutions speed up meter reading times, improve network monitoring, and identify possible leaks or faults.
Our range of communication modules allows Maddalena meters to meet the requirements of smart metering, with maximum flexibility, in various areas of application including Submetering and Utilities.
The modules can be purchased individually or already paired and configured on compatible meters.
SHORT-RANGE AND LONG-RANGE COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGIES
All our radio modules are powered by long-lasting battery power supplies, with 10 to 15 years service life, depending on the configuration. They are equipped with a bidirectional static meter interface, while data protection is guaranteed by advanced data encryption protocols. Maddalena communication modules are able to transmit all essential data, including current reading, reading logs, indexes (based on configuration) and alarms. Outdoor installation modules provide IP68 protection.
Compatible with the European wM-Bus Standard (EN 13757) and OMS specifications, they provide full interoperability with a range of reading systems available on the market, including third-party systems, and thus facilitate the work of system integrators.
Maddalena communication modules are also compatible with the specific IoT technologies, including LPWAN (Low Power Wide Area Network) long range transmission. These technologies convert the meter to a true end-point for future IoT connections.
