Company quality management: the Maddalena experience

June 18th, 2018

Last 4 June Maddalena attended a workshop on the 2015 edition of the ISO 9001 standard and the changes it brings about. The workshop was organized by Udine Confindustria and the local Association of Engineers with sponsorship of Accredia.

Focus of the workshop was the transition to the 2015 edition. ISO 9001:2008 and ISO 14001:2004 certified companies are required to adopt the new standard within 15 September 2018.

The new criteria introduced by the latest version of the standard require that companies revise their  quality management systems adopting a risk-based approach in planning and implementing actions aimed at meeting both the needs of the market and business partners.

Maddalena contributed with a speech on the integration of the ISO 9001 and MOG Systems according to law decree no. 231/2001. The speech was made by Mr Emanuele Ferrari, Quality Assurance Manager.

The speech focused on risk management and analysis of the company production and business processes, analysis of the internal and external context, identification of stakeholders and simplification of management documentation following the integration into the Quality and Environmental Management Systems.

Maddalena has always been at the forefront in pursuing the highest management and production quality standards, as proved by the recent ISO 27001 data security certification.
